Whole Duck Foie Gras - Bronze Medal in Paris 2020 (180g)

This duck foie gras has won several medals in Paris in the past years and received the bronze medal in 2020. In total, the producer received 55 medals from the most prestigious competition held in France, showing their expertise that has been perpetuated for 4 generations. A tiny amount of sugar has been added to it, to give an even more subtle taste. Just outstanding!

Whole duck foie gras (from France), salt from Salies de Béarn, pepper, sugar.

    

How to prepare

Place the jar in your fridge the day before you want to eat it. Take it out of the fridge about an hour before to serve, and eat it cool, but not cold. A few leaves of lettuce, some toasted and warm traditional rustic French bread and a sweet white wine will make a perfect accompaniment. Chutneys and/or figs are also lovely with it.

For better results, sprinkle a few crystals of fleur de sel onto your slice of foie gras before eating.

For even more indulgence, serve with a small amount of Périgord truffle.
