Created in 1932 at the fishing port of Quiberon in Brittany, la belle-iloise is a cannery that has always put quality first in order to always improve the products for its customers. The daily production is decided in the morning according to the fish caught on the day, so that the best recipes apply to the best fish. Prepared by hand, following the traditional artisanal method at La Belle-Iloise Cannery, fresh mackerel is poached in a court-bouillon, placed in tins by hand and finally covered with a delectable marinade of white wine and aromatic flavourings.
